Ms Alissa A.

Meet Alissa, a speech pathologist and member of the My Therapy Crew team. She has worked in the complex disability space and loves to problem solve collaboratively to reach the best outcomes for her clients. She has experience in an assessment service for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and has in-depth expertise on a range of AAC tools and their implementation. Alissa is also confident to support with complex feeding/dysphagia management, social skill development, behaviour support and emergent literacy. She has worked with clients across the lifespan in a range of environments, and has a particular passion for paediatrics and early intervention. Alissa loves making genuine connections with clients and their teams, and supporting people to reach the goals that matter to them. Outside of work, Alissa loves hikes, snorkelling, a cozy night in with her cats and occasionally having a good boogie at a dance class!
